This is a two day course (run from Morag's studio in Bristol) is aimed at photographers breaking into the wedding market. We will look at all aspects of wedding photography from getting your first weddings to shooting with models to marketing and your professional image.
Day one starts with an in depth presentation and discussion on wedding photography and creating shooting scripts that make sure you have the time in the day to create the images you need to produce high end albums. In the afternoon Morag will run a hands on workshop with models where she will show you how she gets the most from her subjects. Morag will cover aspects such as working with poor venues, low light and organizing your time.
On the morning of the second day off camera flash systems will be demonstrated to show delegates how to use lighting creatively on location, following this there will be a lively discussion on marketing and promotion. The afternoon will be devoted to turning your images into a salable commodity, so we will cover marketing, photoshop techniques and album design. The two days will be packed with information so come prepared not just with your camera bag, but with pen and paper to take notes!
A working knowledge of photography is assumed of all delegates, as are basic file handling and Photoshop skills.
Course fees: £320 (+ VAT) for two days training includes refreshments, lunches and hands on sessions with models.
